The University Librarian, Mr. Ronaldo P. Sumait together with the Library Personnel, Ms. Beverly T. Lim, Ms. Karen M. Marcos and Ms. Marichu C. Pulanco joined the Faculty Member of the College of Teacher Education, Dr. Romeo C. Clemente and Office of the Student Services and Welfare Director, Dr. Loraine S. Tattao, in donating various reading materials for the Multi-Grade Learning Resource Center (MLRC) of Larion Bajo, Tuguegarao City last June 21, 2017; June 8, July 27 and August 27, 2016. The extension project specifically aimed to enrich and foster reading for each and every child of the community. Barangay Captain Pablo P. Flores received the books in behalf of his constituents.

MLRC is an extension project of the College of Teacher Education in collaboration with the University Library, with Barangay Larion Bajo of Tuguegarao City. It consists normally of library holdings covering multi-disciplinal sources from basic knowledge and applied sciences to arts, letters and philosophy, and other essential frontiers of higher education. The local government units particularly barangays in remote areas are all the more strongly felt in dire need of learning centers equipped with books, magazines or personal computers with access to internet.
