The Cagayan State University Librarians and Program Library Chairmen joined the biggest and longest-running book fair in the country, the Manila International Book Fair (MIBF). The 36th MIBF was conducted last September 16-20, 2015 at SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. The exhibit showcased the largest and most varied collection of literature for leisure academic reading. To augment the library holdings with the latest editions of references and to comply with the Library Standards set by Accrediting Agencies is one of the primary objectives of the CSU contingents to the said endeavor. The Librarians, Ms. Marie Paz Rico of CSU Gonzaga, Ms. Esmenia Perdido of Sanchez Mira, Ms. Gemma Mamanao of Aparri, Ms. Wilma Taguibao of Andrews were accompanied by the Library Program Chairmen, Ms. Paz Corpuz of CHIM and Mr. Christopher Lord Tulauan of CTED, to select and evaluate books for procurement.
