The Philippine Librarians' Association, Inc. Cagayan Valley Region Librarians Council conducted a forum with a theme "Understanding PLAI for a Better Appreciation of the Librarianships Profession" held on May 22, 2015 in Patria Sable Corpus College, Santiago City, Isabela.

This endeavor which attended by the CSU Librarians Ronaldo Sumait, Wilma Taguibao (Andrews Campus), Melisen Daguro (Lal-Lo Campus ) and Gemma Mamanao (Aparri Campus) specifically aimed to a) gather librarians and library staff of Region 02 and organize or re-organize themselves per province for a stronger regional council; b) recognize passers of the 2015 Librarians Licensure Examination (LLE) in the regional and welcome them as new member of the association; c) to discuss possible means of improving the image of librarians and status of librarianship in the region; d) enhance partnership and networking among librarians, libraries and information centers in Cagayan Valley; e) present plants and projects of the association for the next two years; and f) share PLAI updates and benefits of PLAI membership.
